Gosh! Sean does it again. Another helpful design tip for business cards
"Rule 5: Your logo and contact details come last
===========================================
At the bottom of the card, there's always a little space to
put in your logo and your contact information. Just so that
the prospect knows exactly how to reach you...just in case."
see his article here: How To Prevent Your Business Card From Being Recycled there's a beautifully simple PDF document, showing how to do this, on his site, amongst many other really worthwhile tips and suggestions
It's not always about graphic design, sometimes what makes our documents get read is mechanical rather than design. and all too often the recipient isn't interested in our story at all!
the beauty is though, that there are ways to make the communication more likely to be understood, retained, talked about and passed on in conversation. (that's a hint to talk with a graphic designer. i know you can do it yourself using the software on your PC, but talking with a professional can save you time, make it more effective, and bring a better result)
